Day 2 Moscow
Breakfast buffet. Moscow, The Mother of Russia, is a genuine Russian city with the Kremlin and its orthodox cathedrals (entrance) with onion-shaped domes, dramatic changes in the last decade have made the city one of the most dynamic metropolis in the world . The morning visit includes all the splendors of the city, including the Red Square and the Kremlin, the Bolshoi Theater Square, the Sparrow Hills with the University, and Moscow Kremlin with a visit to the cathedrals. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 3 Moscow - St. Petersburg
Breakfast buffet. The day offers an optional excursion to the picturesque city of Sergiev Posad, where we will visit the Trinity Monastery of Saint Sergio, the most important Russian monastery and the spiritual heart of the Russian Orthodox Church. Lavra has been restored by the celebrations of the 700th anniversary of the birth of Saint Sergio de Radonezh. In the afternoon we go to the Moscow railway station and board the Sapsan high-speed train to St. Petersburg. The train ride takes us through endless Russian landscapes along the Volga River. In the afternoon we arrive at St.Petersburg, accommodation at the Hotel Sokos Vasilievsky **** or similar.
Day 4 St. Petersburg
Breakfast buffet. St. Petersburg is an amazing city. Its imperial palaces and museums enjoy worldwide fame, while the Neva River and many canals have deservedly given the city the title of "The Venice of the North." During the morning walk we will meet all the splendors of the city: Peter and Paul Fortress (entrance), the Winter Palace, the St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Bloodied San Salvador Church, the Nevsky Convent and much more. The afternoon offers an optional visit to the world famous Hermitage museum.
Day 5 St. Petersburg
Breakfast buffet. In the morning an optional visit to Peterhof, a sample of the time of Peter the Great, with its impressive Palace, the Magnificent Waterfall and Water Avenue and its wonderful parks. In case you do not make the optional, you can enjoy this fantastic city on your own. Please contact the reception of your hotel to give you the options to spend this day.
Days 6 - 7 St. Petersburg-Tallinn
Breakfast buffet. Transfer to bus station, departure to Tallinn. Arrival in Riga and transfer to Hotel My City **** or similar.
Day 7 Buffet breakfast. Tallinn is a lovely mix of medieval tranquility and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a very lively place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, cafes and outdoor restaurants. The visit on foot takes us through the medieval walls and in the Old Town we see the Toompea Castle, the Dome Cathedral, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the Medieval City Hall and the medieval hall of the Grand Guild (entrance). In the afternoon an optional excursion is offered to the Kadriorg Park and visit KUMU, the new art museum of Estonia, with its collections of classical and contemporary arts.
Days 8-9 Tallinn-Riga
Breakfast buffet. Transfer to bus station, departure from Tallinn. Arrival in Riga and transfer to Hotel Radisson Bly Latvia **** or similar.
Day 9 Riga Buffet breakfast. Riga was founded in 1201 by the German bishop Alberto, it is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and you can admire a true kaleidoscope of the various styles of its architecture. The walking tour includes the Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, the Church of St. Peter, the Swedish Gates, the Three Brothers, the Guild houses and the Statue of Liberty. The afternoon is reserved for an optional visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian pride of the sea, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches.
Days 10-11 Riga-Vilnius
Breakfast buffet. Transfer to bus station, departure to Vilnius. Arrival in Vilnius and transfer to Hotel Artis **** or similar.
Day 11 Breakfast buffet. Vilnius is known for its more than 1,200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. The walking tour of the Old Town with the Vilnius Cathedral, the Gediminas Tower, The Church of Peter and Paul, The Church of St. Anne, the University and the Doors of the Alba. The afternoon offers an optional excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, with Trakai Castle, located on an island on Lake Galve.
Days 12-13 Vilnius-Minsk
Breakfast buffet. Transfer to bus station, departure to Minsk. Arrival in Minsk and transfer to Hotel Minsk **** or similar.
Day 13: Minsk Buffet breakfast. Minsk is one of the last unknown secrets of Europe, modern and historical at the same time, a green city with a cosmopolitan and bustling atmosphere and surprisingly bright, clean and safe. The morning excursion takes us to Independence Square and Independence Avenue with its impressive collection of Stalinist classicism, the Old Town, the Island of Tears, reconstruction and the Trinity District Janka Kupala Park. Free afternoon. In the afternoon transfer to the Minsk train station and board the night train to Moscow.
