Day 1 Ivalo-Kakslauttanen Arrival
Arrival at Ivalo airport (air ticket on your own). Arrival transfer from the airport to the Igloo Village of Kakslauttanen. Dinner at the main house of the Igloo Village. 1 night accommodation in a Glass Igloo. These Igloos are made of glass which allows you to see the sky and sleep under the Northern Lights in case you show up tonight.
Day 2 Kakslauttanen
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. At 10:00 hrs (all timings and the order of visits must be confirmed by us). Start your 2-hour activity: Reindeer Safari. The reindeer safari is a relaxing trip into the nature of Lapland. Organized by local reindeer herders, where you can talk with the locals and connect with the Sami people in an authentic way. The shepherds will provide warm blankets and thermal suits. They will breathe the fresh air and the silence of nature while we wait and look at the sky in search of the northern lights. They will have a rest where they can have a hot drink and listen to stories about the life of these shepherds in Lapland. In the afternoon (16: 30-18: 00 hrs) they will visit the village of Santa Claus and have a picture and short chat with him. I return to Kakslauttanen. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 3 Kakslauttanen
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. In the morning 09: 30-11: 30 hrs. They will live unique moments with the Huskies. These friendly dogs will give us an enthusiastic welcome, barking nonstop. Before starting the safari, they will be instructed on how to control the sleds. We will travel a few kilometers through the most incredible landscapes of Lapland. Back at the farm we will enjoy some hot berry juice in the heat of the home while chatting with the musher chief about these amazing animals. In the afternoon at 19:00 hrs pick up at the hotel to go in search of the northern lights by snowmobile. An exciting night walk in the forest. We will go to the location of the activity next to the forest, we provide thermal suits and instructions. Lights from the area are left behind and the snowmobile light illuminating the snow and plunges into the Arctic nature. While we take a break we enjoy a hot berry juice and in the clear sky and if they are lucky, the Northern Lights, the northern lights, appear in the sky. There will be some breaks for photo shoots and changing the driver along the way. After the ride, we will have a cup of hot juice together before returning to Kakslauttanen. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 4 Kakslauttanen
Breakfast buffet. In the morning you will live unique moments with snow mobile safari. Before starting the safari, they will be instructed on how to control the snow mobiles. We will travel a few kilometers through the most incredible landscapes of Lapland. During this experience we will enjoy some hot berry juice in the heat of the home. Return to Kakslauttanen. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 5 Kakslauttanen-Ivalo Departure
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Check-out at the hotel. Transfer by bus / car to Ivalo airport. Farewell to Lapland and Kakslauttanen.
